Meiji Period Japanese Jungin "Pure Silver" Inkwell w/ Figural Scribe & Finch

You are bidding on an Outstanding Meiji Period (1868-1912) Japanese Jungin "Pure Silver" Inkwell w/ a Figural Scribe or Monk on Top & Colorized Gold Finches around the Base.  Adorned with a lot of Japanese script that I could not decipher as well as makers marks that I also couldn't figure out.  It measures approximately 3.5" tall, 3.5" wide and weighs approximately 5.9 ozt.  The overall condition is very nice with just light wear.  There is no liner included, though I can't say for sure if it ever had one.  A GREAT piece!  Please email me with questions.
