In the past, I hard-wired power adapters to these - batteries got expensive and would drain quick, but stealing the transformer from a train set allowed for a more consistent and fun weekend of racing!
You get only this booster house as-is, untested and with obvious battery chamber defect and stickers/decoration deteriorating
