This is a terrific pair of albums from long ago! They are the 1940 editions of Grosset and Dunlap's US and World albums. These albums are complete, with no tearing of damage other than wear, and the spines and covers are still in great condition.
The World album has all the countries in it as they stood at the start of World War II. The US album goes from 1847 to the Famous Americans series of 1940. It also has airmail, revenues, postage due, and US possessions of Cuba, Canal Zone, Philippines, etc.
There is hinge residue, but the pages are still in nice shape. Please study the scans, and feel free to contact us with questions.
