This is a neon lighted advertising clock for Ford automobiles.  The “coolness” of the sign doesn’t stop with the advertisement in the center!  It also offers a fully working clock and surrounding both the clock and the ad panel is a fully working neon tube.  This is a NICE looking sign!  The clock face appears to be a reproduction and is in near mint condition.  Although I believe the face is new, I believe the clock itself and casing are period correct.  The inside of the case, around the graphic, appears to have some white touchups in spots but done nicely and no real apparent unless you look very close.  All colors are nice and bright on the clock face/ad panel and REALLY looks nice with the surrounding neon.  The hour, minute, and second hands on the clock are in place and it does seem to keep pretty good time.  This is a COOL sign!  It measures 18-5/16” wide, 18-9/16” tall, and about 6-7/16” deep.  The casing is metal as are all the panels in back.  The trim strip around the front of the glass appears to be decorative stainless steel.  The back of the case appears to have been restored VERY nicely with textured black paint, period correct.  All metal pieces are in great shape with no cracks/breaks.  There is a little bit of scuffing to the metal trim strip surfaces but not real bad.  This advertising piece is in REALLY nice shape and displays very well.  It will make a great addition to any vintage Ford, automobilia, transportation, advertising, neon, or clock collection!  This will fit into a LOT of different collecting categories.
