Description
This is a 1.25” diameter antique bronze-colored commemorative coin in cardboard/card stock holder commemorating the first 100 years of Detroit’s Ford Motor Company. The cover features the centurion logo and the words, “Ford Motor Company 100 Years.”Inside, there are a variety of tinted photos celebrating some of FOrd’s most iconic vehicles, including Mustang, F150, and, of course, the Model T.
Founder Henry Ford and then-CEO bill Ford are also featured.
The coin features bas relief design and the words, “The road is ours 100th Anniversary Celebration - June 12-16, 2003” as well as images of the Mustang, F150 pickup, and, behind it, older models. The coin appears in a die cut hole.
On the back of the card is a photo of the open road. The back of the coin appears in a die cut circle, repeating the design of the card’s front.
A fun collectible for Motor City fans, former Ford employees, or all those who are proud of what the company has contributed to Michigan and beyond.
