This heavy ceramic beverage mug crafted by Ceramarte in Brazil depicts a steam locomotive drive wheel, connecting rod and steam piston on the metal lid. The cast relief art on the side shows the Union Pacific "Big Boy", "Orient Express", "Twentieth Century Limited" and others. It is # 223103 of the number
produced i
n 1982, as stated on the bottom of the mug.
The item was removed from an estate about 20 years ago and has been in storage. The casting and detail on this piece of Breweriana Art is quite well done. LOOK at photos carefully to see casting detail.
