Antique Cambodian Khmer 900 Silver Gourd Pumpkin Melon Form Hand Chased Silver Box
Presented is a charming vintage or antique southeast Asian silver covered box.The box is made in a lovely pumpkin or gourd type of form, with a lobed body andseparately cast foliage for the pumpkin's top. The piece is beautifully handchased with ornate floral designs against a finely textured background.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, nobreaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The box is stamped on the underside with a hallmark that is unclear. We havetested the piece with nitric acid and guarantee it to be at least 900 puritysilver.
The box measures about 4 1/4" inches in diameter and stands about 3 1/8" inchestall.The box weighs 186.3 grams on my scale
