An awesome 1836 Original Gobrecht Dollar graded PR 30 by PCGS. This coin is one of only a few Gobrecht Dollars we have ever offered. It holds superior detail for the grade level and came from a rare coin dealers personal collection. It has been notated to be the J-60 pattern by PCGS. This amazing coin has been housed in an old time PCGS Green Label Holder. These coins are seldom offered in this grade level, especially in an old time holder such as this one.
This pattern coni holds a tiny mintage of 1,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 500 have survived in all grades today. It is one of only 12 graded Proof 30 by PCGS.
